Regulatory Changes to Large Medical Oxygen Cylinders  [ Return to  Medical Gas Services  ]

Your business is going to be affected by significant regulatory changes to medical gas cylinders and you need to take action.

All valve outlets of large medical oxygen cylinders will be changed to Pin Indexed, and the colour of cylinders will be changed to all white.

You will need to upgrade your oxygen regulators and your manifold system by the following dates:

  • SA/WA/NT Quarter 1 2010
  • QLD August 2010
  • NSW/ACT February 2011
  • VIC/TAS June 2011
