The Air Liquide Group maintains a slogan of ‘Safety First’ throughout the organisation and believes safety is absolutely essential, grounded in the conviction that all accidents can be prevented.

Through total commitment, and by developing an acute sense of Safety Awareness, we have managed to substantially reduce the number of work-related accidents over the years.

Ensuring the safety of our customers means that all of our equipment, gases and services must meet general safety criteria, as well as each customer's specific requirements and environmental protection standards.

We offer our customers specially designed training to ensure the safe use of all our products and gases in the hospital and the home.

In 2005 Air Liquide Healthcare will continue to focus on developing its risk management program to ensure that all of our internal and customer activities are assessed and mitigated at the baseline of our projects. It is our policy to fully inform our customers of the risks associated with the handling and use of our medical gases and we recommend measures for preventing accidents.

We encourage customer involvement in all of our Safety programs. We reward safe practices and continue to strive towards achieving the Air Liquide Global objective: ‘Safety First’.
